Pine Needle Plus blended herbal tea is a blend of herbs chosen for their high shikimate content.
• Pine Needle Tea is high in shikimic acid or shikimate (from green edible pine needles) the fresher the needles the higher concentration of the oils/resins and nutrients. Shikimic acid and nutrients in pine needles possess: cancer fighting, antiviral, antimicrobial, anticoagulant and antithrombotic properties, and is also known to help neutralize the spike protein found in many viruses.
• Fennel and Star Anise are also an excellent source of shikimate or shikimic acid.
• Dandelion Leaves – research shows that this herb efficiently blocks the interaction between ACE2 Cell surface receptor and spike protein (in vitro)
• Hibiscus is a herb that is high in Vitamin C, bioflavonoids and antioxidants shown by its bright red/maroon colour when added into a herbal blends.
